Formations to use: ◉Infantry 65% ◉Riders 15% ◉Hunters 20% That is, if your march is 110k and less, put 15k riders / 20k hunters / rest infantry. > 120k - ∞ / 16k / 22k. > 130k - ∞ / 18k / 24k. > 140k - ∞ / 19k / 26k. > 150k - ∞ / 21k / 28k. Why is that so? -All formations underwent thorough testing and evaluation of the results over a huge amount of time (game mechanics, battle reports), using an ideal formation you increase your chances of winning one or even two opponents, thereby the formation greatly affects the final results. Спойлер: Incomplete lines And if we are talking about a battle when the lines are incomplete - only this approach gives a chance of winning more numerous enemy lines, it is impossible to do this with the default formation, you will lose most of the time to the second opponent due to the lack of infantry, which will be spent with the first (if we are talking about opponents of the same level as you). While using this formation you basically could defeat twice as numerous enemy line. Спойлер: Infantry importance Infantry is the main part of magic in this game, having a formation with a larger (than the enemy) number of infantry, you increase your total ability to damage (as strange as it may be with a smaller number of hunter riders), in any battle while the enemy is engaged in your infantry, you do the same for your part, but in the game the mechanics are arranged in such a way that when the damage troops are doubled (decreased), the set of damage increases (falls) by only 15%, while the double number of infantry also has double values of health and armor. Basically - after the infantry ends up at one of the sides, the further is a matter of literally a few rounds (and 60% of the enemy's army ends up without being able to inflict the same planned damage) Спойлер: Comparison of formations as example, when the indicators do not change on either side and everything depends only on the chosen formation. Default formation could count on 2 victories in Showdown only when facing with heavy wounded opponent and next also weak(also without march/formation), otherwise its loss of high number(or all) of infantry in the 1st battle and defeat from the 2nd. Against enemy with proper formation - defeat. 30/30 have higher amount of infantry and thanks to that they usually overcome opponent (of same level without march/formation) but in the 2nd battle their infantry number cant provide them reliable chance. And in case of stronger level opponent or player with march/formation they couldnt overcome. Formation 19/26 have best results in terms of damage and having high defence at the same time. What does it mean in Showdown - in case of defeat you will deal highest possible for you damage to the opponent, this will allow your next mate suffer less defeating him. In case of same or lower level opponent you lose less amount of infantry and will continue to the next opponent with something like 50/16/23, which still gives your good chances and even in case of defeat you put bigger impact. Formation 15/20 have sligtly less damage output, however toughest defence and could also be used. You can count on about the same as in 19/26, but in case of a victory, such a formation will have more infantry for the next opponent, but if defeated, it will inflict slightly less damage on him. As a result, if both conditions are met - march and formation, in real battles you defeat opponents of equal level even before they have time to eat half of your infantry, and you have a serious chance of doing the same with opponents of higher caliber.
